OUR STORY

Euro Speed Works was established by two men who have had a dream and passion for cars since their youth and now as fathers, are setting an example for their families by showing what heart, dedication, determination, hard work, integrity, passion, grit, and skills look like when on the pursuit to following your dreams! 

Dan and Don (The dynamic duo) came from very different backgrounds, but share a common love and passion for all things fast! 

Dan grew up in a speed shop along side his father in North Carolina. His passion and knowledge continued to grow over the years. He pursued a career working in the automotive industry. In 2015 he started working at a vintage Porsche race shop in Florida.  While working there he started to get involved in track events as well, which is where he fell even further in love. Things were going great, he started a family and then Mother Nature came along and put him on another path.  His shop and home where in the direct path of Hurricane Michael and it was devastating. After spending about a year of clean up and recovery, there were many uncertainies for the future. Dan made the difficult decision to move his family back to NC where he was given the opportunity to work for an exotic performance shop.  This performance shop allowed Dan to thrive and grow once again.  He was able to get back out on the track as well.  Dan played a pivotal role in the success of this shop and its growth. It's at this shop that Dan and Don would meet.  We'll get back to that in a moment, first, a little back story on Don...

Don was born and raised in CT. Growing up in Guilford, he too had a passion for cars, especially European vehicles.  He decided to pursue a career in the Automotive world as well. While attending automotive school his skills caught the attention of a very well known Mercedes dealership that recruited him and he became a Master Tech.  He made a choice to move to North Carolina in 2019.  While working as a Mercedes-Benz Master Tech, his phenomenal skill set once again caught the eyes of another very well known establishment. He was also once again recruited and then became a Master Mclaren Tech.  Don found the demand for his skills while working at the #1 Mclaren dealership by volume in the U.S. was putting him over worked and getting burned out.  He decided to start a family and take a small step back from such a grueling schedule and took a job working at an exotic performance shop where he met, you guessed it, Dan!

Dan and Don quickly hit it off while working along side each other in NC.  They quickly realized that they shared the same dreams and passion not only when it came to vehicles, but in life too. They were each other's "missing link".  Both men knew their worth and their skill set and decided to no longer allow others to benefit off it while they struggled to make ends meet.  Both having families now and wanting to provide, set an example for their children, and follow their dreams, they decided to partner up and go for it!  

They left their jobs, sold their homes and moved to CT to start Euro Speed Works.  This next chapter has been one of the most challenging and rewarding chapters so far and it's only just begun.  Dan and Don are excited and looking forward to the future and serving their community of car enthusiasts alike.
